年次有給休暇(ねんじゆうきゅうきゅうか)とは、労働基準法第３９条で認められた権利であり、これを行使することで賃金が支払われる休暇を取得することができます。
法律上は、雇入れの日から６ヶ月時点で１０日間付与され、その後は１年ごとに付与されます。
「仕事が忙しく、有給休暇をほとんど取れていない」「取得状況はかなり個人差がある」など実際は計画的に消化できない場合も多いのではないかと思います。
その有給休暇について来年２０１９年４月から、１０日以上の年次有給休暇が付与される労働者が、年に５日以上の有給休暇を取得することを企業側の義務とするものです。
つまり、今後は毎年５日、時季を指定して有給休暇を与える必要があります。怠っていると法律違反になってしまいます。
